Amadeus String Quartet
Since 1990, the Amadeus String Quartet has specialized in performing fine classical music for wedding ceremonies and receptions in the Atlanta area. The ASE was founded by husband-wife violinists Sou-Chun Su and Sheela Iyengar with the vision of providing the best musical services for weddings in the city. Sou-Chun is the Associate Principal Second Violin of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and Sheela also performs frequently with the ASO. Together, they collaborate with Atlanta’s most talented musicians to bring you elegant classical music for your wedding ceremony, reception or special occasion.
Our full-time professional musicians perform regularly with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Opera, the Atlanta Ballet and many other ensembles in the Atlanta area. All our members hold advanced degrees from the most prestigious conservatories in the world and have years of experience performing for weddings and special events. On a different note, our musicians have also recorded on albums for artists such as R. E. M. (Automatic for the People), the Indigo Girls, Kelly Price, and have commercial credits for Coca-Cola, Delta, Disney, Georgia Power, and CNN
