We love to play music and it shows. The Andrew Faz trio plays jazz and pop standards with energy and excitement while keeping the volume at a comfortable level for your guests. We have extensive experience playing weddings, private parties, and corporate events. Bandleader Andrew Faz has played piano all over the world, from his original home in Bolton, England to Atlanta Georgia his adopted base since 1992. The trio is the perfect choice if you want a band that is large enough to fill a ballroom dance floor yet small enough to play in a restaurant without drowning out conversation.

We have played at The Fox Theatre (Egyptian ballroom), Piedmont Driving Club, Druid Hills Golf Club, Marriott Marquis, The Atlanta Jazz Festival, Governorís Mansion, Atlanta Athletic Club, and nearly every other prestigious venue in the Atlanta area. We are also prepared to travel; past clients include The Georgia Medical Association (2001 convention in Savannah GA), Receivable Solutions Inc. (Knoxville TN), The Villages (Ocala FL), and the Classic Center (Athens GA).

At 35 Years old, Joe Gransden has already performed worldwide and released seven CDs under his own name. Renowned first for the hard bop approach of his trumpet, Gransden’s singing voice has been compared to that of Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra.
Fellow musicians across the country hear a talented trumpet player whose ace in the hole is a well-developed voice. But around Atlanta and New York Joe is also a well-respected human being, a nice guy who treats people fairly. He has always managed to keep every aspect of his career and life in balance. In this tempestuous decade, Joe’s lyricism is like a breath of fresh air.

Leonard McDonald
Leonard McDonald was born and raised in Detroit. He moved to Atlanta in 1978, and has backed up local vocalists Theresa Hightower, Chandra Curelli, and numerous others. While in Detroit, he worked with bands and traveled with various Motown groups. Currently, he leads the trio at the Ritz Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, Ga; he is also the music director at East Lake United Methodist Church. In addition, he performs during cocktail hour at the Embassy Suites Hotel, and is also a member of the Afro American Philharmonic Orchestra.
