Orquesta Lyrica has been performing the passionate and vibrant sounds of Latin America in Atlanta and the rest of the Southeast for the last 25 years.
Enrique Mercado was born in New York City where he lived until he was 12 years old. His family then moved to Catano, Puerto Rico where he began private music lessons and studying music at the Conservatory of Puerto Rico. While in Puerto Rico he cultivated his style and musical talent by playing with groups such as Orquesta Mega Uno, and Orquesta Yambo.
