Harpist Catherine
Harpist Catherine has provided a variety of classical and popular music in the Atlanta area as a freelance musician since 1976 on pedal harp and Celtic harp. She performs for a variety of occasions including wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, parties, banquets, conventions, fashion shows, grand openings, lecture/ demonstrations, concerts, church services, memorial services and other events.
Ms. Rogers has performed for Bill Cosby, for Sarah, Duchess of York, in concert with saxophonist Boots Randolph, for Coca-Cola Company and MCI at the 1996 Olympic festivities, and in an exclusive engagement for Vice-President George Bush.
Ms. Rogers is a founding member of the Georgia Chapter of the American Harp Society and the Atlanta Folk Harpers. She has served as principal harpist for the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra and the DeKalb Theatre Guild since 1980.
