Better Than Silence Band

Better Than Silence is a high-energy Atlanta-based folk and rock cover band with a distinctive instrumentation that includes a fiddle, acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, banjo, four singers, and a fantastic rhythm section! The band brilliantly covers classic rock from the 1970s to the 1990s, modern folk rock, alt country, and...well, a little bit of everything!

 The band's eclectic song repertoire includes popular hits by Journey, Blondie, Queen, Tom Petty, Rick Springfield, Charlie Daniels, Paul Simon, Dave Matthews, Tyler Childers, Simple Minds, ELO, and more!

 The band has played Sweetwater Brewery, The Works Atlanta/Dr. Scofflaw Brewery, Tucker Brewery, St. Pius X High School fundraisers, The White House (the Atlanta White House!), Wild Heaven Brewery, Druid Hills Country Club, Gate City Brewing in Roswell, Glover Park Brewery in Marietta, and more. 

 Each event is a blast for everyone because of the band's dynamic makeup of several singers, blended harmonies, and distinctive instruments! Discovering songs you love, haven't heard in a while, and want to dance to is one of Better Than Silence's primary objectives.

The band features Dorothy on violin, acoustic guitar, keyboards, harmonica (and possibly other instruments - we're not sure! ), Bob on acoustic/electric guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, and keyboards, Brian on electric guitar, Tony on drums and percussion, and Greg on bass and acoustic/electric guitar make up the band's diverse and eclectic lineup.
