Jazz Guitarist - Dan

Dan, a Detroit born Jazz guitarist and composer started playing guitar at the age of 9.  One of his first major influences was listening to the genius of Jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery.  Dan devoted himself to become a die-hard Jazz artist.

He received a Bachelors degree from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston majoring in Jazz Composition and Arranging.  He also earned his Masters degree at the University of Miami with a major in Jazz Pedagogy. 

Jazz By Two

Jazz By Two was designed to bring an atmosphere and touch of class to a more intimate or semi-intimate crowd. The material is classic and modern jazz standards with a touch of pop and R&B.

Jazz Guitarist Mike

Since his arrival in the fall of 1996 to Atlanta, jazz guitarist Mikey has become one of the most sought after straight-ahead jazz guitarists in the area.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Mike subsequently resided in New York City where he performed at some of Manhattan’s more prestigious jazz venues including Condon’s, Birdland, The Village Gate, Fat Tuesdays, and Showman’s Lounge. He has appeared with Charles Davis, Al Grey, Della Reese, Richie Vitale, Junior Cook, Joe Romano, and Ralph Lalama.

Jeff The Saxophonist

When it comes to fusing jazz music with smooth sounds of R&B, combined with hand-clapping gospel, funk, and soul music, Jeff the Saxophonist Sparks has mastered the technique.

The result is a sound with mass appeal that brings listeners together regardless of age, color or creed that truly makes Sparks not only a standout musician but also a true crowd-pleaser.  His desire goes far beyond delivering basic entertainment – his objective is to keep his listeners in the palm of his hand and he does just that every time he picks up his sax.

Joe Gransden Jazz Band

The Joe Gransden Jazz Quartet has performed all over the world by now while releasing seven CDs in his own name.

Well-known for his “chops”, dashing good looks and the hard bop approach of his trumpet, Joe’s smooth singing voice has been compared to Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra.

Joe’s peers throughout the country hear a talented trumpet player whose ace in the hole is a well-developed voice. Joe’s demeanor as a nice guy who gains your respect and who treats people fairly is well thought of from Atlanta to New York.

Blue Sky Jazz Quartet

For over 25 years, the Blue Sky Jazz Quartet has been one of Atlanta’s most sought-after Jazz Bands.

Led by pianist- vocalist, Jim Tiernan, (owner of Blue Sky Atlanta Music & Entertainment), this band is one of the most versatile, invigorating bands that will bring upbeat sophistication to any themed event for all ages to enjoy!
